SECULAR WORK EXPERIENCE

Claims Examiner - Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance - 1978-1979. Surveyed and processed various health insurance claims to insure accurate and timely payment.

Internal Auditor - Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance - (1979 - 1982) Audited billings from various service providers to discourage overpayments and fraud.

Management Trainee - Independent Life Insurance Company - 1982-1985. Worked in every department of the company to get a working understanding of operating and managing a major corporation. Trained for management in Life and Accident, Property and Casualty and Credit Insurance.

Operations Manager - American Heritage Life Insurance Company (1985-1987) Provided the ground work for development of and managing of a Property and Casualty Insurance Company.

CHRISTIAN WORK EXPERIENCE

Help found and develop what is presently The Potter's House Christian Fellowship, Inc. in September 1988. Have served as Vice President and Secretary of the corporation since inception. Since that time has served in virtually every area of ministry, including:

• Started and directed Nursery Ministry for about 5 years.
• Started and worked the Tape Ministry for a couple of years.
• Oversaw and directed the Stewardship (Finance) Ministry for 13 years. Duties consisted of check writing, bank statement's reconciliation, quarterly tax filings, budgeting, etc.
• Ministered through the Jail and Prison Ministry for several years and now on occasion.
• Worked with the Inspirational Care (Nursing Home and Hospital Visitation Ministry) for several years.
• Have provided general administrative oversight for multiple building and expansion projects including construction management, purchasing, budget management, design layout, staffing, etc.
• Produced radio tapings with my husband, pastor, for a couple of years, and occasionally does so now.
• Presently teach approximately 275 ladies each week in Sunday School class.
• Has taught New Members' Orientation Class for past 17 years.
• Have hosted and spoken at several women's retreats and conferences.
• Provides spiritual, marriage and financial counseling to many.
• Assists Bishop McLaughlin in counseling many pastors and church administrators with regards to church and ministry operations.
• My present position is that of Church Administrator and Administrator of the Christian Academy. I assist the pastor in all of the administrative duties of the ministry and the academy, including overseeing staffing, personnel benefits, facilities management, budgeting, stewardship, pastoral appointments, ministries operations, etc. I provide oversight with regards to curriculum selection and development, policy making, programs implementation, staff training and development for the Academy.

• Vice President of Covenant Fellowship International.
• Serves on the Board of Directors for School of Success Charter School.
• Started and serves as Vice President for The McLaughlin Charitable Foundation in 2001.
• Advisory Board Member of S.I.S.T.E.R.S., an assimilation program for formerly incarcerated men and women.
• An adjunct professor for and a former Board of Trustees for Logos Bible College.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• 1970-1974 Germantown High School, Germantown, Tennessee. Major concentration English and Biology. Graduated summa cum laude.
• 1974-1978 B.S. Degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Martin, Tennessee. Graduated Magna cum laude.
• 1985-1988 Florida Community College. Approximately 20 credit hours in Insurance Management.
• 1992-1994 Logos Christian College. 9 credit hours in Biblical studies.
• 1994-1996 Masters of Science Degree in Christian Education Administration from Pensacola Christian College, Pensacola, Florida.
• Have attended numerous seminars and workshops concerning Personnel Management, Facilities Management, Counseling and Personal Development.

PERSONAL DATA:

Was born again in September of 1982, and have by God's grace lived a consistent Spirit-filled life in Christ ever since. Married Vaughn McLaughlin in June of 1978. We have now been married for over 28 years. (All praise belongs to God.) We have been serving together in ministry for over 18 years. We have two children, Angel, 22 and Stephen, 20.
